Kashy Godson, CEO of Cash Nation, the label under which singer Barry Jhay is signed, has reportedly died by suicide in Ghana.
While the cause of his death is still sketchy, the record label boss was alleged to have plunged down from his apartment’s balcony. According to reports, he had been battling depression for a long time, although it’s yet to be confirmed if that was responsible for his death.
In June 2020, Godson was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for his alleged involvement in cybercrime.
However, a video currently circulating online shows Barry Jhay bleeding from the lips after a serious fight with Godson.
“See the way this guy beat me. I no do anything; I dey record. Na him this guy beat me like this,” the singer said.
While it is not yet known if the singer’s injury had anything to do with Gordon‘s death; Nigerian celebrities including Naira Marley, have taken to social media to mourn the deceased.
