Banky W revealed that his wife Adesua Etomi, who played a gospel singer in Knocking on Heaven’s Door, is working on an album.
According to Banky, Adesua, whom he fondly calls Susu, is pursuing a career in music. In an interview on Inkblot Meet & Greet, Banky shared some of the projects that he and Adesua were working on together.
He said, “Susu and I have been working on this little venture called BAD Media Productions. BAD as in Banky Adesua, keeping the heritage going. We are working on music, some stuff for film and some stuff for music. We’re very excited about it”
In the interview, Banky spoke about Adesua Etomi’s album and why they plan on wearing so many hats in the entertainment industry. He said, “I’ve always loved just being creative. And I’ve always felt like you should never put yourself in a box that God did not put you in. So if you’ve been given talents in any way, shape, or form, you should try it.”
Banky W also talked about expanding his food chain Sooyah Bistro, saying, “We’re about to open our sixth outlet. We have a vision in mind to get about 8 to 10 and then, by God’s grace, branch out of Lagos. We’ll start to look towards becoming a franchise model like a McDonald’s or IHOP. So people all over the country or Africa can buy a license and plug and play the model we’ve developed.”
