August Alsina, an American singer/ songwriter, has released a new song titled Entanglements featuring Rick Ross, an obvious reference to his romance with Jada Pinkett Smith, who recently described their relationship as an “entanglement.”
The singer-songwriter had announced the release Saturday night on social media, sharing a snippet that soundtracked an American Dad scene.
The song, comes amid the buzz surrounding his relationship with the wife of Will Smith, a popular American actor.
In the newly released project, Alsina confirmed he indeed had an affair with the movie star’s wife and gave his candid thoughts on it.
He also provided further definition of “entanglement”, the term used by Jada to describe their relationship during a recent Red Talk Table with her husband.
“I got into an entanglement with August,” she had told Will.
After the interview, fans had sought to know exactly what Jada meant when she said “entanglement”.
“The definition of entanglement is when we tangle in them sheets. Girl I know we not in a relationship but you still f**kin with me,” Alsina can be heard singing.
The singer had stirred reactions on social media when he claimed Will Smith gave his approval to his relationship with Jada.
“If you look up the definition of ‘entanglement,’ it is a complex and difficult relationship. It was exactly that,” Alsina had told Vulture in a recent interview.
“I think it’s just the language that probably stuck out to people. But I definitely have to agree with it being an entanglement. It definitely was something complicated, a complicated dynamic.”
