Arnold Shwarzenegger on favourite film he’s been in, it’s a surprising answer

Arnold Shwarzenegger, an actor, producer, and former politician is an Hollywood action movie icon.

The actor appeared in over 40 movies during his career, most notably the Conan and Terminator franchises. With an extensive list of action movies to his name, you would think Shwarzenegger’s favorite movie would be an obvious pick. You would’ve been wrong.

During an interview with The Late Show host James Corden, he revealed that 1990’s Kindergarten Cop was his favorite movie he had starred in. He said, “I think Kindergarten Cop is my favorite”.

In Kindergarten cop, Shwarzenegger plays John Kimble, a detective who’s undercover as a kindergarten teacher to catch a drug dealer. However, while undercover, Kimble discovers a passion for teaching he never knew he had, and considers changing his profession.

In the 1980’s and 1990’s, Shwarzenegger was a mainstay in Hollywood action blockbusters. His breakthrough film was the box office epic Conan the Barbarian (1982). He went on to appear as the iconic Terminator in the critically and commercially successful sci-fi hit The Terminator (1984) as well as a sequel for Conan titled, Conan the Destroyer, (1984).

Some other box office hits on his resume include, Commando (1985), The Running Man (1987), Predator (1987), Total Recall (1990), and True Lies (1994), Twins (1988), Junior (1994), Red Heat (1988) to name a few.

For someone with such an iconic resume, hearing him pick Kindergarten cop as his favorite is very surprising.
