Ariana Grande has officially finalised her divorce from ex-husband Dalton Gomez.
She is set to pay him a one-time settlement of $1.25 million.
According to The Associated Press, a Los Angeles Superior Court decision ended their three-year marriage. The divorce petition cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Ariana will make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez, with no future alimony. She will also give him the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home, as well as up to $25,000 to cover his legal fees.
According to the outlet, the divorce terms were agreed upon in October 2023, but the couple had to wait six months before the judge’s order went into effect.
Ariana and Dalton were said to have started dating sometime in 2020 and had quarantined together during the COVID-19 lockdown. Their relationship was kept private from social media, and he remained a mystery until TMZ revealed his identity. In June 2020, the singer posted a gallery of adorable photos on Instagram, including a loved-up one with Dalton, thereby making them Instagram official.
The couple then got engaged, and Ariana announced the news in December 2020, showing off her engagement ring. In May 2021, they married in a very private ceremony at the singer’s Montecito home. The service was extremely exclusive, with only a select few in attendance, including her fellow Victorious cast member and friend Liz Gillies..
In 2023, rumours of separation began to circulate after the singer was seen at the Wimbledon tournament with Johnathan Bailey and Andrew Garfield, but without her stunning wedding ring on her finger. TMZ confirmed at the time that the couple was planning to divorce. Since then, Ariana has been reported to be dating Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.
