A Nollywood time travel film called DOD is officially in the works; Nigerian owned film studios, Anthill Studios, has reportedly rolled out their cameras to bring the new feature to life.
The makers of Malika and Elevator Baby recently unveiled a new feature titled DOD. DOD a family adventure drama, based on two teenagers, Chidi and Rotimi.
Thes two get the magical chance to go back in time and reverse the financial situation of their family.
The story is by Akay Mason and Abosi Ogba and will be directed by the duo. Ogba, a first-time director will collaborate with the second-time director of Elevator Baby.
On the list of ensemble cast include Jide Kososko, Nobert Young, Ireti Doyle Ini Dima-Okojie, Toyin Abraham, Blosson Chukwujekwu, among others.
Like most movies these days, there will be comic relief in the way of Instagram skit makers; Broda Shaggi, Mr Macaroni, and the likes.
Web/TV actor Denola Grey plays the lead role alongside Olumide Oworu. The movie is produced by Victoria Akujobi of Anthill Studios and Isioma Osaje.
Anthill Studios got 6 AMVCA nominations for their Elevator Baby movie including Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Picture Editor.
There is yet to be an official release date for DOD.
