American actresses Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Skye are set to host the 2022 94th Academy Awards on March 27.
Although the stars are yet to confirm this, it is reported that they are finishing up deals to host the prestigious awards ceremony.
Earlier, it was reported that this year’s show will be a three-act show.
On Sunday, comedian, Amy Schumer shared a range of her biggest career achievements on her verified instagram page. She captioned it, ‘‘Big fun news comin’’
The female hosts are famous for taking on comedic roles. Schumer has received 12 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations.
Skye has 14 Emmy nominations to her name. While
Regina Hall is famous for roles in prominent films including “The Hate U Give”, “Little”, “Girls Trip,”. She also won the New York Film Critics Award for best actress.
This is the first time the awards show is to be hosted by 3 females. It is also the first time in 35 years there will be as many as 3 hosts.
