Popular drama series, “Snowfall” is returning for a third season this July!
Led by talented British-Nigerian actor, Damson Idris, who plays the budding kingpin, Franklin Saint, the third season of Snowfall is set for premiere. In a press statement, Chief Operating Officer of FX, Chuck Safter, announced that the new season will debut July 10, 2019.
The synopsis for the season reads: “In the wake of the growing epidemic, budding kingpin Franklin Saint becomes a target of interest by his next-door neighbor, Sergeant Andre Wright”. The season is set in 1984, during the very height of the crack epidemic in South Central, Los Angeles.
The whole drama series is set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic in the 1980s in Los Angeles, FX’s underrated drama, Snowfall, has had two critically acclaimed seasons, leading up to a highly anticipated third season.
Snowfall was created in 2017 by the Late John Singleton (Boyz n the Hood Director), Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, and currently maintains a solid 80% rating on popular review websites.
