Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu is a Nigerian lawyer and media personality. He is known widely as the host of reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, the long running Rubbin’ Minds talk show on Channels TV as well as co-host of The Spot and Men’s Corner on Ebonylife Television.
Ebuka was announced as the host of Big Brother Naija season 2 in 2017. He also hosted the third season and is currently the host of the ongoing season tagged “Pepper Dem”.
Since the inception of the show on the 1st of July, Ebuka has been serving viewers and his fans bespoke elegance with his outfits.
Below are some of our favourite fashion moments according to Ebuka:
1. Ebuka opened the show in a Tuxedo covered in swarovski crystals on grey pants, a perfect semi-formal dress for evening events. The outfit was from Mai Atafo, a Nigerian bespoke fashion brand.
2. While still opening the show, the media personality rocked a black agbada with floral embroidery around the neck from the same brand. He paired the agbada with shoes from 313eko to match.
3. Few days after the premiere of the show, the host shone in a true-African outfit from Vanskere, an urban African luxury clothing brand.
4. And on the first eviction night, Ebuka went all blue in an Afropolitan 3-piece cape from Vanskere and shoes to match from D29.
5. As always, it takes simplicity to spell elegance. Ebuka hosted the nomination show on the 8th of July in a ‘Control’ top from Vanskere. A design inspired by television remote control.
6. But on his birthday, He went all out in a traditional “Isiagu” (lion head) from George Fabrics tailored by D29.
7. And when it was time to look all trendy and dapper, Ebuka ravished in a 3-piece suit from Mai Atafo. That holster belt detail was everything!
8. Looks like he came with all the pepper he could get as he served it really hot in a T-combat ensembles pieces from Tribes by Nobs at the live nominations show in the 4th week.
9. Next in his wardrobe was an outfit inspired by the colours of the Tiv culture. Ebuka looked bespoke in a nicely styled outfit from Ugo Monye and paired it with shoes from Zubair Footwears.
10. And this right here is a masterpiece, the Vatican inspired agbada piece by Africana Couture rested majestically on Ebuka’s shoulders as he did his thing on the stage.
11. Fashion indeed is an expression so when Ebuka wore this Napoleon inspired safari by Tiva Bespoke, we heard him loud and clear.
12. Ebuka went all black in a silk textured jacquard asymmetric kaftan with French embroidery buttons and structured pleats from Lasaraie fashion at the eviction free night show on the 6th week.
13. Here is a fashion inspiration for the lovers of Adire. Babbar Riga has never looked better. In the heat of Eid celebration, Ebuka served some peppered ram meat in Agbada made from Adire, pants from the tie and dye pits of Kano and very nice shoes and hat to match.
14. While still enjoying the Eid holiday, Ebuka wore a trendy 2-piece outfit from Vanskere. He topped this look with a fancy hat and shoes.
15. No eviction doesn’t mean no sweggg. Ebuka gave us black royalty with this outfit from Ugo Monye and shoes to match from Zubair Footwears.
16. Just when we thought we have seen it all, he pulled off a cropped jacket. What is ironic is that we can’t tell if it was just fashion or because finally, some housemates were about to get chopped. The brightly coloured cropped jacket and pants were from Mai Atafo.
