Legendary Afrobeat producer turned singer, KDDO has released his first Extended Playlist. Ayoola Oladapo Agboola was formally known as Kiddominant when he wore the producer hat. However, he’s up to more good these days.
KDDO has been giving us great music for years through the voices of other artists. However, this time, he is set to take things up a notch by being on both sides of the creative process.
He created this EP for his fans to understand his versatility and music expertise. Although, it could be said that KDDO has no points to prove especially looking at his track record.
His name constantly bellows under many Mayorkun and Davido hits. He also produced the hit song,“Under the Influence” for American Pop star, Chris Brown. KDDO showed us a different side of himself when he featured on South African rapper, AKA’s “Fela in Versace”.
Too Late Too Lit
On this new EP titled, Too Late Too Lit, KDDO got some very talented acts on the sounds. The 8 track production featured musicians such as Jidenna, Bas, Davido, Mayorkun and the latest Afro-highlife sensation, The Cavemen.
KDDO admitted that the pandemic was responsible for his inspiration to put out this magic. According to him, he wanted to create something that would bring friends and families together despite the turn of events.
He said: “I want my music to be the soundtrack of people’s lives. To remind them of a time in their lives that they never wanna forget. I just want people to have fun and enjoy themselves while they can.”
“eWallet” featuring Cassper Nyovest is already an Amapiano hit. The song definitely assures a good time every time it hits. This time with other hits like “Beamer Body” featuring Davido and “Party” featuring Jidenna and Bas.
KDDO really shows off his versatility as a producer, beautiful writer and incredible singer. This EP is definitely a whole vibe. The EP is now available to stream on all major music platforms.
