British singer/songwriter, Adele Adkins known popularly as Adele has reportedly confirmed her marriage to American sports agent, Rich Paul.
The singer made the announcement at her friend Alan Carr’s comedy stand-up debut in the United States on November 18, 2023.
Adele and Paul have been dating since 2021. They met at a party a few years ago but didn’t start dating until later. Adele has spoken openly about her feelings for Paul. She described their relationship as “the most incredible, openhearted, and easiest” she’s ever been in.
Adele’s previous marriage to Simon Konecki ended in divorce in 2019, but it wasn’t finalized until 2021. Angelo, the couple’s son, was eight years old. Their divorce was never made public.
Adele admitted to Oprah Winfrey in 2021 that she was “just going through the motions” in her marriage and wasn’t happy. She also stated that she did not want her son to grow up in a home where his parents were unhappy.
Adele and Konecki’s divorce was amicable, and they continue to co-parent their son.
