Alternative singer, Adekunle Kosoko popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has officially disclosed his forthcoming album title and release date.
In a letter to his fans, the music star revealed that his third studio album is titled Afro Pop: Volume 1, and will be released on Friday, August 21, 2020.
As reported on eelive.ng, the singer recently released AG Baby as the second single off the forthcoming body of work.
Having rose to fame in 2014 while signed under rapper Olamide‘s YBNL record label, Adekunle Gold released Gold, his debut album two years after.
The singer received nominations for Album of the Year at New York’s Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA), as well as at The Headies, which recognises outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
He followed the success of the album with his sophomore body of work, About 30, which was released in 2018. The album garnered praises from a variety of music critics, and media outlets.
