Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has revealed that her name has been trademarked.
A trademark means the movie star could take legal action against anyone who uses her name for commercial and branding purposes that has not been approved by her.
She broke the news in a terse post on her social media page.
“Omotola is now trademarked,” she wrote.
Other famous people who have succeeded in trade marking their names include Beyonce, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, former U.S. President Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Taylor Swift, Victoria Beckham, Bruce Springsteen and Katy Perry.
