Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken legal action against Yomi Fabiyi, demanding that he apologise and pay damages to the tune of ₦100m for the recent defamatory statements he made against her.
Fabiyi alleged in a recent post that Princess and Iyabo Ojo made plans to murder Baba Ijesha if he was got out of prison on bail. Baba Ijesha is in prison for molesting Princess’ daughter, a crime to which he has confessed multiple times.
Iyabo Ojo shared a copy of the defamation lawsuit papers against Fabiyi on her Instagram page. “A full retraction of the defamatory publication by you on your Instagram handle and status for seven consecutive days; starting from the first publication which you must specifically acknowledge that your allegations are false, misleading and entirely defamatory of the client’s character,” the suit read in part.

Fabiyi has vehemently supported the child molester since his arrest. The actor tried to poke holes in Princess’ story and demanded for the CCTV evidence of the crime to go public. Fabiyi has even organized protests to get Baba Ijesha out of prison.
