VETERAN Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokubo has suggested life imprisonment consequence for anyone convicted of rape.
In a post she shared on Instagram, the thespian expressed her stance against rape, saying a rapist is worse than a murderer.
She wrote; ”I have been through all kinds of emotional shifts this week.
Injustice everywhere I turn!
“How do you bury a child you have been weaving all your life around just because some #rapeidiots refused to understand a very simple sentence with just two alphabets NO … jeez No is No.. A Rapist is worse than a murderer… he leaves his victim as a living dead.”
Dokubo’s suggestion came on the heels of the death of 22-year-old Uwavera Omozuwa, the 100-level student of UNIBEN, who was raped and murdered in a church in Edo state, and 19-year-old Barakat Bello, who was gang raped and murdered in Oyo state.
