Bimbo Oshin, Nigerian actress, has lost her husband, Ola Ibironke better known as Dudu Heritage.
The music promoter died on Sunday after he slumped at the golf club while out with his friends.He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Before his death, he was the captain of Ibadan Golf Club.
Ibadan Golf Club, confirming the news in a statement on Monday, expressed shock over the sudden demise of their caption.
It read “We are shocked by the sudden demise of our Captain, Mr. OLA IBIRONKE. The Course is hereby closed and all club activities are suspended until further notice while the Flag will be hoisted at half mast.
“Our prayers are with his family and members of this great Club. Further details will be announced later.”
Also, Jaiye Kuti, a close friend and colleague of Bimbo Oshin, in a chat with Punch said, “Yes, he has died. He died last night.”
The family will announce burial arrangements in due course.
Born in 1971, Bimbo Oshin hails from Ondo State.
Bimbo started her acting career in 1996 but rose to recognition after starring in a 2012 Yoruba film titled Omo Elemosho.
Ibironke and Oshin got married in 2005.
