The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) will host an international festival in Miami, Florida, in collaboration with the African Travel Film Festival.
AGN’s National President, Emeka Rollas, aims to foster networking opportunities for Nollywood actors and their international counterparts.
“We will be touring the Telemundo studio in Miami; we will also be exploring the beaches of Miami in a boat cruise as well as get more knowledge through masterclasses on filmmaking,” Rollas said.
The AGN’s international festival will take place in Miami, Florida, from November 9 to November 11.
According to her, the official hosts for the event would be Nancy Isime and Joseph Benjamin.
It aims to foster cross-cultural collaborations in filmmaking and provide exposure for Nollywood actors to casting directors and producers worldwide.
The festival will feature various events, including film screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and seminars, providing actors with networking opportunities and promoting Nigerian talents to a global audience.
Former AGN president Segun Arinze commended the initiative, stating that it would encourage actors who seek better opportunities abroad.
