Nigerian actor, Williams Uchemba, has lamented the massive influx of false prophets in the country.

The actor, taking to his Instagram page on Saturday, said those false prophets claimed they heard from God but can’t back up their teachings with the scriptures.

He said it is wrong to use fear and condemnation to preach the gospel of Christ.

He wrote, “There is a massive release of false prophets recently claiming they heard from God but can’t back up a single thing they say with the scripture.

“How you know it’s God is that it comes from the place of love. How you know it’s the devil is that it comes from the place of condemnation.

“You think Christianity is a joke? You think Hell is funny? You think Jesus’ death for our redemption is a movie?”

He also added “You don’t use fear and condemnation to preach Christ. That’s the devil’s tools. Condemnation has never fixed a misbehaving child. Charlatans misleading the sheep for slaughter.”

“Know the word of God for yourselves guys so nobody will deceive you. (2 Timothy 2:15 , Mathew 7:15).”

Williams Uchemba was born on October 22 in Abia State Nigeria. He however started his career as child actor featuring in movies alongside Pete Edochie, Olu Jacobs, Ramsey Noah and many others.

In 2001, he rose to stardom after featuring in blockbuster movie “The Journey of the Dead”. He also featured alongside Pete Edochie, Ramsey Noah, Olu Jacobs and many others.
