Nigerian actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, is marking his 60th birthday today.
The actor and lawyer, taking to his Instagram Page on Tuesday, shared a video of himself reading from scriptures.
The actor prayed to God to give himself, family and his fans an expected end.
He said “As I thank God today, 1st of March, my 60th birthday, I have prayed for myself and will also pray for you as a friend, brother, sister, and neighbour.”
Kanayo added from the scriptures “For the Lord had said in his words, I know the thoughts that I think towards you; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
“That’s my prayer for myself today and that’s my prayer for you. That the Lord in his might and mercy shall give us an expected end. Happy birthday to me at 60. Thank you for being there. God bless you.”
Kanayo O. Kanayo or KOK as he is called was born with real name; Anayo Modestus Onyekwere in Mbaise, Imo State on the 1st of March 1962. He made his debut in the industry about 27 years ago in “Living in Bondage”. In 2006, the actor won the African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
In January 2022, the actor advised people not believe sex-for-roles claims in Nigerian entertainment industry as they are not always true.
