1. Namaste Wahala
This film was originally meant to be released in April 2020, but COVID-19 happened. After almost a year of waiting, the Bollywood meets Nollywood rom-com is finally debuting as a Netflix original on Valentine’s Day. Read all about it here.
2. Malcolm & Marie
Malcolm & Marie is a 2021 American black-and-white romantic drama film written and directed by Sam Levinson and is coming to Netflix on February 5. The film stars John David Washington and Zendaya (who both also produced) as the title characters; a director and his girlfriend, whose relationship is tested on the night of his latest film’s premiere.
3. To All the Boys: Always and Forever
If you’re a sucker for teen romances, then you’d enjoy the third instalment of the To All the Boys series, which follows Lara Jean and her family on a trip to Korea, where she figures out her college plans; and if Peter will be a part of it. TATB is coming to Netflix on February 12.
4. I Care A Lot
If you’re not looking for any romance in February, might I offer something in the scammer category? Gone Girl actress Rosamund Pike shines in this movie where she plays a court-appointed legal guardian who defrauds old people and sends them to nursing homes. Coming to Netflix on February 19
5. The Girl on the Train
The Girl on the Train is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language mystery thriller film that follows an alcoholic divorcee entangles herself in a missing person’s investigation. Coming to Netflix on February 26.
