  1. REEL LOVE

The much-anticipated movie Reel Love, co-produced by Timini Egbuson, will be across Nigerian cinemas on Valentine’s Day.

The movie will features Nollywood stars such as Muyiwa Ademola, Funke Akindele, Shaffy Bello, Altanta Johnson, among others.

Speaking at the movie premiere, Timini Egbuson shared his thought on the movie. He said “I wanted to make a movie with soul, something everyone could resonate with. It wasn’t just about my character’s love story—we touched on different layers of relationships. This was also a chance to introduce fresh talent, and TJ Omusuku’s first lead role means a lot to me. Seeing this film come to life has been a dream come true.

“Reel Love is a story close to my heart. It speaks to the reality of love in the digital age—how we connect, break, and heal. I wanted to create an authentic, relatable, and deeply moving Valentine’s movie. I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.” 

Futhermore, the movie will feature comedy, drama, and unexpected romance.

2. Captain America: Brave New World

Premiered on February 11 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California, Captain America: Brave New World is set to hit the cinema on Valentine’s Day.

Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is also the fourth installment in the Captain America film series; a continuation of the television miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021), and the 35th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

3. Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

The iconic Bridget Jones is back! Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is an upcoming 2025 romantic comedy directed by Michael Morris, with a screenplay by Helen Fielding, Dan Mazer, and Abi Morgan. Serving as the sequel to Bridget Jones’s Baby (2016) and the fourth film in the beloved series, the movie is based on Fielding’s 2013 novel of the same name.

The film will feature star such as  Celia Imrie, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Gemma Jones, Hugh Grant, Isla Fisher, James Callis, Jim Broadbent, Joanna Scanlan, among other.

It centres around Bridget Jones who navigates life as a widow and single mom with the help of her family, friends, and former lover, Daniel. Back to work and on the apps, she’s pursued by a younger man and maybe – just maybe – her son’s science teacher.

4. CHHAAVA

CHHAAVA is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language historical action film based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.
