Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie, is seeking the support of Nigerians in a bid to purchase presidential form ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The actor and politician made this call on Saturday through his social media page; while reacting to accusation of cheating on his wife.
According to him, he advised people to back him with the same energy on his quest to emerge the next president of the country.
He said “Did you see what we did on Wednesday? We shook the world and still shaking it. The energy you all are applying knows no tribe, no religion no gender,” the actor wrote in the caption of his APGA-branded campaign e-flier.
He added “The energy is coming from the north, south, east and west and all over the world. The energy is united.
“We’re on TV stations, radio, blogs, youtube, every WhatsApp group, market, committees, street, hood, everywhere.
“With this energy, we can take back our country and fix it. I cannot do it alone. I need you, we need you. Nigeria needs you.
“My dear Nigerians, please, I appeal to you, buy me presidential form let’s win this election.”
The actor first declared his intention to run as President of Nigeria in 2018; but didn’t go through with his plan.
On July 6, 2018, Edochie was appointed Senior Special Adviser on creative and entertainment media by the Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano.
Also n 2021, Yul Edochie declared his intention to run for Nigeria’s presidency in 2023.
