Nigerian kids, Ikorodu Bois, famous for remaking videos and movie trailers and Emmanuella, a 10-year-old Youtube comedienne, have been nominated for the 2021 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards.
On Thursday, the award organisers released the nominee list for the annual US children award which has been scheduled for broadcast on March 15.
Ikorodu Bois and Emmanuella was nominated in the ‘Favourite African Social Media Star category and are up against Elsa Majimbo, Kenyan social media figure; Bonang Matheba (South Africa), and Wiam Van den Berg, South Africa social media magician.
South African musician, Master KG was also nominated in the Global Music Star category alongside Taylor Swift (North America), BTS (Asia), David Guetta (Europe), Savannah Clarke (Australia), and Sebastian Yatra (Latin America).
Justin Bieber leads this year’s nominee list with five nominations, and following closely is Stranger Things with four nominations.
