10 Nigerian Celebrities That Are Also Siblings

celebrities siblings

Like many professions in Nigeria, show business is usually a family business. Two stars can be so different from each other, only for you to find out that they are related. We have compiled a list of five celebrities and their famous siblings who are killing it in their respective fields.

1. Dakore and Timi Egbuson

One interesting fact about these two is how they are both in the same film industry and are excelling individually. Dakore was in Nollywood long before Timini, so you can say she paved the way for him. Timini has been doing quite well on his own. They also acted in movies together, Isoken and 50 and the siblings executed their roles perfectly. We love the sibling bond they have!

2. Olamide and DJ Enimoney

If there is a perfect example of siblings carrying each other, it will be this one. Olamide, a musician, and DJ Enimoney, who is a disc jockey, have come together to make their mark in the music industry. DJ Enimoney is the official disc jockey for YBNL, Olamide’s record label. The duo has grown a lot over time, and it’s inspiring.

3. Linda and Laura Ikeji

Linda Ikeji is an award-winning blogger who became a household name for posting scandalous stories on her website. She paved the way for her siblings, and one of her sisters who notably stands out is Laura Ikeji. Laura Ikeji is a leading fashion entrepreneur and social media influencer. They are both successful and seem happy.

4. Kunle and Gabriel Afolayan

The Afolayan brothers have become Nollywood staples over the past decade. Kunle and Gabriel are prominent in the acting industry and have become a familiar face to both old and young people. In fact, the whole Afolayan family can be referred to as the ‘Nigerian Wayans family’ due to the number of them in entertainment.

Kunle is a talented filmmaker and director, while Gabriel has made his mark as a gifted actor. His latest movie, Citation, has catapulted beyond the shores of Nigeria and is gaining international recognition. It is incredible to see their hard work finally pay off.

5. The Otedola sisters

Temi, DJ Cuppy, and Tolani are a trio of celebrity siblings that are letting the world know that they are more than just their billionaire father’s children. Temi is a fashion enthusiast and has recently added ‘actor’ to her list of qualifications. She is the star actress in the movie Citation.

DJ Cuppy is a disc jockey, singer, and philanthropist. She is the first sister to rise to fame and has held her position at the top despite criticism.

Tolani is the newest addition and is a fast-rising singer. Her song, Ba Mi Lo, in which she featured Reekado banks, has over two million views on YouTube already. These three sisters are determined to make a name for themselves outside their father’s privileged position.
